The outside bathhouse was originally a smoke house. All the rocks used to re-build this building were dug up on this property. It includes a showere stall, toilet, changing area and sink.
The carriage area attached to the 3-car garage was built to accomodate the antique Bachelor's Brougham Carriage built and imported from England in 1849 (the same year the house was built.) It was discovered years ago in Pennsylvania. It was restored in 2002 by Justin Carriages Works of Nashville, Michigan in western Michigan. A duplicate carriage made of fiberglass sits on the front lawn.
